About Melissa

I provide individual counseling to adults of all ages. My experience has been working in private practice for 8 years. Prior to private practice, I worked 9 years at a psychiatric hospital providing counseling and other services to individuals at all levels of care.


This experience includes working with individuals struggling with chronic mental illness, anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, grief and loss, phase of life issues, addictions and with family members of individuals who have addictions.

May 2005 Graduate of the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institiute, Advanced Psychodynamic Program. Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, University of Illinois and PSI CHI Graduate. May 1996. Bachelor of Science in Psychology Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, Il. 1992
